At the banquet on May 31, 2001, 18 students were honored for their efforts in helping to design a logo for the Route 30 Corridor Improvement Study. Finalists from three grade-levels and the winning entry were announced. Daniel Mendenhall, a seventh-grader at Pequea Valley Intermediate School, learned he had the winning entry, which provided the inspiration for a new project logo. This logo is used extensively in project related communications and on this web site.
